Boundless CF Vaporizer and Boundless CFX Vaporizer are amazing vaporizers, but with a few simple modifications, you can still improve the experience of vaping with these devices. Below, we present a few simple tricks that will help you squeeze maximum potential out of your Boundless!
Boundless CF Vaporizer and Boundless CFX are powerful, hybrid vaporizers that produce plentiful and potent vapor. At the same time, they are very affordable. No Wonder they stole the hearts of so many fans all over the world. It is those fans who started introducing their own modifications and shared their experience so that everyone can make the most of their Boundless vaporizers.
Modification No 1: better air flow!
The first modification is very simple and is aimed at improving the air flow (to feel less resistance when you take a draw) and to make the cleaning process easier. To apply this modification, you will only need a convex filter from desktop Arizer vaporizers. Once you have the screen, you can get to work.
The first step is to dismantle the unit and to remove all the metal elements – the filter and the two-part piece with a thread that the filter is installed in. Put aside all those metal parts – you won’t need them anymore. The second step is to assemble the cooling unit – now it has no metal filter or the mounting that were located above the heating chamber.
If you loaded the herbs into the chamber at this stage and started an inhalation, your vaporizer wouldn’t have any mechanical filter and the material would be sucked into the cooling unit and perhaps also into the mouthpiece. In order to make sure that the herbs stay inside the chamber, you need to cover its inlet with the convex screen from Arizer we mentioned before, with the concave side facing down.
Once the cooling unit gets locked in its position, it won’t move. Thanks to this modification, you will be able to enjoy a much better airflow, which improves the inhalation comfort. What’s more, in order to clean the screen, you simply take it out after the inhalation (be careful – it’s hot!) and once it cools down, clean it on both sides with a cleaning rod.
In the case of a standard filter, you have to dismantle the whole unit, clean/soak the metal elements and assemble the vaporizer back. IT would simply be much more time-consuming.
Modification No 2: free concentrates!
The second modification allows for a comfortable collection of condensed vapor which is, de facto, a powerful concentrate – perhaps not as tasty as other concentrates but definitely one that guarantees some really good results. You will need a steel screen with relatively small mesh.
You can look for a screen with the perfect diameter or simply cut a standard one to size – use a cheap screen from a blowpipe for a bong or a water filter. Let’s start from the beginning, though. This modification is a more advanced version of the trick we described before. Start by removing the metal screen and the metal elements with thread.
Then, place your own screen in the bottom part – exactly in the inlet through which the vapor gets from the heating chamber to the cooling unit. Then, assemble the whole cooling unit and your Boundless is ready to go. The trick with the convex screen (modification no 1) is optional. After a few weeks of using Boundless CF or Boundless CFX with that modification, you will start to notice a higher resistance while taking draws.
This means it’s harvest time – after you disassemble the cooling unit, you will see that the screen is covered with golden oil – this is the concentrate or the vapor that got condensed due to the difference of temperatures. It’s best to take it out with tweezers because it’s sticky.
Now you can fold the screen in half and put it into the heating chamber, along with the herbs – this mixture will guarantee an unforgettable vaping experience. Just remember to set a higher temperature for it.
Modification No 3: dosing capsules for Boundless CF/CFX!
The third modification requires you to buy the so-called ELBs (Easy Load Bowls) – special capsules for herbs created for VapeXhale Cloud Evo – they are available online and they’re quite cheap. In the case of this modification, you also have to remove the metal screen and the metal cover.
ELB capsules perfectly fit the diameter of the heating chamber in CF and CFX, but they’re a little bit too high. However, you can push it from the top just slightly and it will fit inside without a problem. The capsule houses about 0.3 g of herbs, but you can choose to use a smaller quantity.
The most important part is to fill the capsules with the material in advance and use them later on whenever you want to fill the chamber – it will be much more comfortable. Thanks to this modification, you also reduce the contact between the herb and the chamber walls, which increases the ratio of convection vs. conduction.
