- What has changed comparing to the previous generation?
- Revolutionary convective vaporizer
Boundless Tera Vaporizer has a bad luck – this vaporizer has already been withdrawn twice by the manufacturer due to some design flaws affecting the safety of use. All of our customers purchased the previous version of Boundless Tera Vaporizer were asked to return their units and were refunded or exchanged for other devices.
Now Boundless Tera Vaporizer is back in the final version, free from flaws and completely safe for health. We have decided to present the device in more detail and compare it to its first generation – Boundless CFV Vaporizer.
Boundless Tera Vaporizer – the most important features
Boundless Tera, similarly to its previous version Boundless CFV, is fully convective, which means that it heats herbs with a stream of hot air. In practice the herb is heated only when the user is inhaling, so inhalation can be interrupted at any time without any loss – the moment we finish inhalation, the heating stops as well.
It promotes material savings, and in addition, the convection heating system allows us to obtain a much better quality of the steam than in conductive or hybrid models. The quality of the steam produced by Boundless Tera is great, just like its taste.
Depending on the battery charge and the temperature set, heating of the chamber, which holds approx. 0.3 g of herbs, takes 30-45 seconds, which is a very good result. Herbs in a stainless steel chamber keep the taste and mixing during the inhalation is not necessary. The steam path is completely isolated from the electronic parts – it does not affect the taste and quality of the steam.
It’s worth mentioning that the full temperature regulation is in the range from 60 to 220 degrees. It allows to inhale various types of herbs and does not limit vaporization to just one type of herb. The temperature, the battery level, and the herb/concentrate mode icons are displayed on the OLED screen located on the top of the device.
Additionally, the user is informed about turning on/off at the end of the session by vibrating notifications. The ease of use is also influenced by the number of buttons, which is only 3 – the main button for switching on/off the device and two buttons for temperature control.
The above-mentioned concentrate mode can be turned on with three clicks of the power button. The heater is heating up to a maximum temperature of 260 degrees, which allows for vaporization of concentrates and ensures its effective use.
What’s more, Boundless Tera is powered by two replaceable 18650 batteries. In the case of a convection vaporizer, with a heating system that uses a lot of power, this double battery extends the time of inhalation to a new length. Replaceable batteries also enable efficient replacement when discharged for a new, charged set.
With time, the batteries are subject to wear, so replacing them will not involve high costs of service and shipment of the device to the manufacturer. Charging the battery is possible outside the device – using an external battery charger or without removing the cells, in the device – using a USB cable, so using a power bank or phone charger.
In addition to the standard, high-quality accessories, the set includes, among other things – a glass mouthpiece and a water pipe adapter. Magnetically mounted glass mouthpiece, in comparison to the plastic mouthpiece already known from the previous models, improves the airflow and the taste of the steam.
The attached water pipe adapter allows convenient water filtration, which helps you to achieve even better results by moistening the steam with water and cooling down its temperature.
The adapter allows you to combine Boundless Tera with almost any type of water filter – male cut of 10mm, 14.5mm, and 18.8 mm or with a female cut of 14.5 or 18.8 mm. It ensures a wide range of use without investing extra money.
What has changed?
Boundless Tera is the successor of the well-known and popular Boundless CFV Vaporizer, what’s more, initially it was supposed to be called Boundless CFV 2.0.
However, the manufacturer decided to not connect these two models. So what distinguishes Boundless Tera from Boundless CFV? Tera vaporizer casing is made of plastic, but the battery cover is metallic. The CFV model was made of plastic entirely.
In the case of Boundless Tera, the heating chamber was enlarged, and instead of 0.1 g it holds 0.3 g of herbs. It ensures longer inhalations and the possibility of using the vaporizer by more people. In contrast to CFV chamber was made of stainless steel aluminum.
A redesigned mouthpiece facilitates better airflow, allowing larger clouds to be released. In addition, it is mounted magnetically, which allows easy change for the glass mouthpiece or adapter included in the set. It’s worth mentioning the increased battery life of Boundless Tera Vaporizer, which is powered by two replaceable 18650 batteries with a capacity of 2500 mAh each – which is a step in the right direction.
The non-replaceable battery in the CFV with a capacity of 1700 mAh is a notable weakness. The temperature range is also different, the minimum temperature for both vaporizers is 60 degrees, but for CFV the maximum is 230, and for Tera 260 degrees.
In case of the newer model, vaporization of concentrates is possible and there is a separate operating mode for this. In the CFV model, there is no possibility of vaporizing concentrates.
Boundless Tera – convective revolution!
All the improvements in the new Boundless Tera Vaporizer make this model one of the most interesting products in our offer. Manufacturers focused on improving the shortcomings of its predecessor – Boundless CFV – in order to create a model that will lead to a new era of powerful convection vaporizers.
