Even though DaVinci IQ2 is the same size as its predecessor, its upgrades are immediately noticeable. Great vapor flavor – now even better!

The thin layer of glass that coats the herb chamber and the vapor path made entirely of Zirconia ceramic guarantee an astoundingly pure vapor flavor – even better than in the first IQ generation! Although DaVinci IQ2 heats the herbs entirely through conduction heat, the quality and flavor of the vapor it produces will satisfy all vaping fans, including the most demanding connoisseurs.

The chamber is voluminous and it houses up to 0.5 g of ground herb, providing long sessions. However, if you prefer a shorter session or microdosing, you can use the provided Dosage Pod – a dosing capsule with a capacity of up to 0.2 g of ground flowers. Purchasing an additional set of these capsules allows for a fast and comfortable refill of the chamber when you’re on the move. It’s worth mentioning that IQ2 heats your flowers very evenly and that it efficiently extracts all the active substances contained in it.

Air Dial – airflow regulation

Another new feature is the Air Dial, a knob located on the bottom lid that lets you regulate the amount of air that reaches the chamber. Thanks to the adjustable air flow you can be in control and can decide whether you prefer a more unrestricted airflow or more dense, clean vapor. There are as many as 5 airflow settings, vastly upgrading your vaping experience!

What’s more, you can set the temperature with a one-degree accuracy and choose the best setting for your preferences. The temperature range is quite ample (from 121 to 221 degrees Celsius), which allows for the vaporization of almost all types of herbs, making it a perfect vaporizer for aromatherapy! Fast, 20-second heat-up time guarantees that you’ll never have to wait too long to start your vaping session.

Active substances potency measurement

One of the most innovative features of the DaVinci IQ2 Vaporizer is the possibility to measure the amount of the active substances of each draw or session. All you have to do is introduce (on the device or in the app) the amount of herb and the potency of the strain. Then, during the session, you’ll get real-time updates on how much of the active substances you’ve already absorbed.

You can also set a limit and the device will notify you if you reach it. It’s a unique function that no other vaporizer offers.

Concentrates vaporization

The Davinci IQ2 is a dual-use vaporizer. In the box, you will also find a concentrates insert that can be applied to the Dosage Pod, allowing you to vape your favorite extracts. This is a function that many users of the previous IQ dreamt about, so we are happy the manufacturer decided to apply their customer’s feedback. The purity of the vapor generated while dabbing is excellent!

The new DaVinci IQ2 obviously still offers all the functions that made the first generation so successful. It has a dedicated mobile app, a Flavor Chamber (you can add aromatic herbs inside this separate chamber to enhance the taste of your plant material), as well as a Smart Paths mode that gradually increases the temperature during the session.

The device is powered by a heavy-duty, 18650 replaceable battery that provides an hour of constant use. The only drawback that we’ve managed to find in the DaVinci IQ2 is the relatively long charging time – up to 6 hours. However, it’s easy to solve this problem by purchasing an extra battery and an external charger, e.g. XTAR VC2.

DaVinci IQ2is single-handedly the best currently available conduction heat vaporizer and one of the best portable models on the market. The manufacturer was able to rectify the biggest problem of the first generation, which was the complicated cleaning.
