User Manual Angus Enhanced

The Angus Enhanced is a session-style portable vaporizer by YLLVAPE, powered by two replaceable 18650 batteries and heating in the 180-220°C range. On this page you will find the official user manual for Angus Enhanced, prepared by VapeFully: from the first start-up, through temperature settings and the boost mode, to cleaning and the most common problems.

What’s in the box

In the box you will find the vaporizer with a glass mouthpiece and a USB-C charging cable. The exact contents depend on the version, so check the kit on the product page before buying.

Choose the batteries separately: the manufacturer recommends 18650 cells with a high 35 A discharge current, specifically the Molicel/NPE INR-18650-P28A 2800 mAh (flat top). Do not use substitutes of unknown origin, as unapproved cells can cause errors in operation and void the warranty.

First use

A new device has production residue in the chamber. Before you pack your first herbs, go through these four steps.

1. Insert the batteries. Slide the side battery covers up and insert the cells according to the (+) and (-) polarity markings.
2. Charge to full. Use the included USB-C cable and a charger rated at least 10 W. The light ring around the button flashes while charging and goes out when the batteries are full. You can also charge the cells in an external 18650 charger.
3. Turn the device on. Press the power button five times within two seconds. A vibration confirms it is on.
4. Clean and burn off. Clean the parts as described in the cleaning section below, then set 220°C and leave the device running with an empty chamber for about 15 minutes. If you can still smell a factory odour, repeat the process.

Step-by-step operation

1. Pack the chamber. Fill it with medium-ground herbs and barely tamp them at all.
2. Fit the mouthpiece and turn the device on. Five presses of the button within two seconds.
3. Set the temperature. Press the power button twice to cycle through the levels in the 180-220°C range. The change is confirmed by the position of the LED next to the button and a vibration.
4. Wait for it to heat up. The LEDs flash while heating. When they turn solid and you feel a vibration, the device is ready. You have a 5-minute session ahead of you.
5. Take your draws. Start at lower temperatures and raise them gradually if you want more vapour.

During a session you can use the boost mode: hold the power button and the temperature rises by 10°C. When you release the button, the device returns to the previous setting. The basics of inhalation technique are covered in our guide on how to use a vaporizer correctly.

The Angus Enhanced also handles concentrates. Place degummed hemp fibre with a small amount of concentrate in the chamber and set the maximum temperature.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Remove the glass mouthpiece to expose the heating chamber.
• Soak the glass parts and screens in isopropyl alcohol (ISO), then wash them in warm water with washing-up liquid and rinse thoroughly.
• Wipe the heating chamber with a cotton bud soaked in ISO. Squeeze the excess alcohol out of the tip and hold the device upside down while you do it.
• Finish with a burn-off: 220°C, empty chamber, about 15 minutes.

Regular cleaning keeps the vapour tasting clean and the airflow free. A dirty screen is the most common cause of growing draw resistance.

Most common problems (Angus Enhanced)

Does not turn on or charge

Start with the cells, not the device. Check the polarity and the condition of the contacts, test the unit with another pair of healthy 18650 batteries, or charge the cells in an external charger. A worn battery is not a device fault: you replace it yourself.

Also try another USB-C cable and a charger rated at least 10 W. Only when the vaporizer does not respond despite healthy, charged cells should you file a warranty claim.

Weak vapour or high draw resistance

It is almost always dirt or technique, not a fault. Clean the screen and the vapour path of condensate, check the pack (medium-ground herbs, not tamped) and take long, even draws. If there is little vapour despite a clean device, raise the temperature or use the boost mode.

The device is unnaturally hot

Stop using it. Do not use the Angus Enhanced when a battery cover is damaged or you can see traces of corrosion either. If the symptom recurs with healthy cells, it is a case for the service centre, not a DIY repair.

Warranty

Angus Enhanced complaints are handled directly through VapeFully: the shop is responsible for the device for 24 months from purchase, and we process a claim within 14 days. Keep your proof of purchase (an e-invoice is enough). You also have 30 days to return your order. The Angus Enhanced is intended solely for dry plant material and only for adults. Keep the device and the batteries out of the reach of children. Insert the 18650 cells according to the polarity markings, carry them in protective cases, do not leave them charging unattended and never use damaged batteries.
