CUSTOMS & TAXES (OUTSIDE EU)
Your country’s customs authority may charge local import VAT and/or customs duties upon delivery. All duties, import taxes and clearance fees are paid by the recipient. They are not included in the product price or in the shipping cost above.
- United Kingdom: import VAT (20%) may be collected by the carrier for orders under £135. Orders above £135 are cleared at UK customs.
- Switzerland: import VAT (8.1%) applies. No customs duties on electronics imported from the EU.
- Norway: import VAT (25%) typically applies on orders above approx. 50 EUR.
- United States: the $800 de minimis exemption has been suspended (since 29 August 2025), so a parcel may be held for customs clearance and duties or fees may be added on top. We cannot tell in advance whether customs will charge them on your particular parcel. If they do, you pay the carrier or customs on delivery.
- Canada / Australia / New Zealand: local GST/HST may apply depending on parcel value and local thresholds.
- Brazil, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Malaysia, Chile: customs clearance can take longer than the transit time shown above and local import charges are common. Check your local rules before ordering.
- Canary Islands: outside the EU customs union – local import VAT (IGIC) applies.
- Other countries: please check with your local customs authority before ordering.
We always declare the correct value on the customs declaration – no exceptions.
IF CUSTOMS STOPS YOUR PARCEL
Fewer than 3% of our parcels get held at customs. It is rare, but it happens, and we want you to know where you stand before you order rather than after.
The risk sits with you, not with us. Once a parcel is seized by customs we cannot recover it and we cannot refund it – the goods are gone and the shipping is spent.
What we can do is help you try again. Send us the customs paperwork and we will give you 50% off a replacement of the same device. One replacement per order.
For the destinations where this actually happens you will see a short note at checkout and a box to tick. That box is us making sure nobody finds out about this the hard way.

Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number. Use it to follow your parcel and get an estimated delivery date.
