In this category you’ll find rolling papers and pre-rolled cones for joints: classic King Size and Single Wide sheets, papers on a roll, ready-to-fill pre-rolled cones, and the tools that make rolling easier.
If you roll, the material the paper is made from comes through in the taste and in how evenly it burns. So it pays to start with one question: do you want to roll your own, or would you rather fill a ready-made cone? That, plus your preferred size, decides what will work best for you.

Types of rolling papers

Papers differ mainly in material, size and form: from thin sheets, through papers on a roll, to ready-made cones you simply pack with herb. Those three things decide the taste, the burn rate and how much effort it takes to prepare a joint.

The material affects taste and how evenly the paper burns. Thin rice papers give the cleanest taste but are more demanding to roll. Hemp papers are a touch thicker, burn evenly and are more forgiving while you’re learning. Unbleached brown paper (most RAW, for example) skips the chemical bleaching, which is why many people who watch what they’re using choose it.

If you care about… Look for…
the cleanest taste thin rice or ultra slim papers, unbleached paper
easy rolling to start pre-rolled cones or a standard King Size Slim
control over joint length papers on a roll (Rolls)
quick prep pre-rolled cones with a tip already in place
a natural make-up unbleached paper, gum arabic glue
a party or a bigger dose Giga and Lean formats or boxes of ready-made cones

At VapeFully we keep two brands in stock that we genuinely know from use: Purize and RAW. We look at more than price, we check how the paper burns, whether the glue holds, whether the cone tears while you pack it and whether the taste of the herb survives under the paper.

How to choose rolling papers

First work out how you like to roll. One paper suits you if you enjoy the rolling process itself, another if you just want a finished joint in a few seconds. Only then is it worth looking at size and material.

For beginners

If you’re still learning to roll, start with pre-rolled cones or standard King Size Slim papers. You pack a cone with herb, press it down, and you’re done, no wrestling with the roll. King Size Slim is big enough to forgive small mistakes while you learn. A simple packing tool, like the RAWL Pen or Cone Creator, can help too.

For hand-rollers

If you enjoy the process itself, reach for thin rice or ultra slim papers, which give the cleanest taste. The King Size format (around 110 mm) suits longer, relaxed sessions, while Single Wide (around 70 mm) suits a shorter, more discreet joint. The thinner the paper, the cleaner the taste, but the more practice the roll takes.

For those who want control over length

A roll of paper (Rolls) lets you tear off exactly as much as you need. That’s handy when you make a smaller joint for yourself one time and a larger one to share with friends the next. A single roll lasts a long while, so it’s an economical option too.

For those who want it ready to go

Pre-rolled cones with a built-in tip are the fastest route to an even joint. They come singly, in small packs and in large boxes (800 or 1000 pieces, for example), which suit people who roll often or roll for a bigger group. There’s nothing to glue by hand here, you just pack the herb.

What to check before you buy

A few things genuinely affect how a joint burns and tastes. When choosing papers, it’s worth checking:

Paper material and thickness

Thinner paper burns more slowly and shows up less in the taste, but it’s harder to roll. Thicker paper gives more stability and is easier to handle. Rice paper goes for a clean taste, hemp for an even burn and resistance to tearing.

Type of glue

It’s best when the glue is natural gum arabic. It should be strong enough that the joint doesn’t come unstuck, and burn as cleanly as possible, without a noticeable aftertaste. Weak glue means a joint that falls apart, while too much of it means a worse taste.

Size and format

King Size (around 110 mm) is the classic for a longer session, Single Wide (around 70 mm) for a shorter joint, and Lean is a thinner, slimmer format. On top of that there are papers on a roll and pre-rolled cones in several lengths. Match the size to how much you usually pack and to whether you smoke alone or in company.

Bleached or unbleached

Unbleached brown paper doesn’t go through chemical bleaching, which is why many people who watch what they’re using choose it. Bleached papers are lighter and often thinner, which can make them easier to roll. Both work, it comes down to what matters to you.

Tips and accessories

A tip (filter) holds the shape of the joint and stops you pulling in bits of herb. Some pre-rolled cones already include one. Beyond that, small tools come in handy: packers, cases that protect papers from damp, or a herb grinder that lets you pack the paper evenly.

Choose your rolling papers at VapeFully

At VapeFully you’ll find papers from two trusted brands: Purize and RAW. Purize goes for unbleached paper, carbon filters and coloured versions (Pink, Rainbow, Brown). RAW is one of the most recognisable makers in the world, with a wide choice of sizes, pre-rolled cones and rolling accessories, like the RAWL Pen, Cone Creator and the Classic Tin case.

We pick papers to cover different styles: from single sheets to try out, through papers on a roll, to large boxes of pre-rolled cones for people who roll often. If you’re not sure where to start, drop us a line, we’ll help you match the format and size to how you roll.

One thing worth keeping in mind: a good paper improves taste and an even burn, but smoking still means inhaling the smoke produced when herb is burned. If you ever want to cut that down, a less burdensome alternative is vaporization, which means heating herb without burning it. In our shop you’ll find both rolling accessories and dry herb vaporizers, so you can choose what fits you today.

After the joint there’s still herb left over, and it needs to be stored well so it doesn’t dry out or lose its taste. So take a look at our herb storage accessories as well as the rest of our accessories, and for more advice head to our knowledge base.
