Here you’ll find soft-flame torch lighters and butane torches for flame-powered vaporizers and for dabbing. If you own a VapCap (DynaVap), a Vapman, a Lotus or Sticky Brick gear, it’s not a battery but the torch that decides how comfortably and consistently you fire up a session.
Choosing one is simpler than it looks: what matters is the type of flame, how adjustable it is and exactly what the torch needs to fit. Below we explain which model suits your device, and our range covers everything from cheap starter lighters to powerful torches for dabbing.

Soft-flame torch lighter or butane torch – what’s the difference

Both run on the same gas (butane or isobutane), but they differ in the character of the flame and what they pair with. A soft-flame torch lighter usually has two flames set up to heat a small tip evenly – which is why it works best with DynaVap VapCaps. A jet-flame butane torch gives one strong, focused stream of fire that handles a larger mass of metal or glass.

If you use… Look for…
a VapCap (DynaVap M, M Plus, Omni, WoodWynd, The B) a dual-flame torch lighter – it heats the tip faster and more evenly
a Vapman, Lotus or Sticky Brick gear a single-flame torch with the flame angled towards the handle
dabbing gear (nail/banger) a strong jet-flame torch, ideally with multiple jets
several devices at once a torch with adjustable flame strength, so you can match it to each one

At VapeFully we match torches to the specific vaporizers we stock and use ourselves every day. We know there’s no point pairing a VapCap with a powerful dab jet-flame, and that a small pocket lighter won’t cut it for a banger. That’s why, for each model, we tell you what it actually suits.

How to match a torch to your gear

Start with the question of what you heat and how. A small VapCap tip needs a different flame than a ceramic dab nail. That’s what should drive your choice – not the price or the looks.

For VapCaps and other butane vaporizers

For DynaVaps, a dual-flame torch lighter is the most convenient option. It wraps around the tip from two sides, so you heat it faster and more evenly, and the bimetal click (the ready signal) arrives predictably. For a Vapman, Lotus or Sticky Brick gear, a single-flame model with an angled flame works better – it’s easier to aim into the chamber without burning your fingers.

For starters, budget butane torches do the job well – for example KOST for under a couple of euros, or PROF Rubber. They let you check whether this way of heating suits you, without spending much.

For dabbing and concentrates

With dabbing, flame power and stability are what count. A larger nail has to be heated to a serious temperature and then left to cool into its working window, so the torch has to keep up without overheating itself. Multi-jet models like the Fummo Coraki with three flames work well here, as do solid metal torches such as the HERO. You’ll find the accessories for this method in the accessories for concentrates section.

A torch as a gift for someone who vaporizes

If someone close to you uses a VapCap or is into dabbing, a good torch is a practical gift – sooner or later they’ll need one anyway. Go for a model with flame adjustment and solid build quality, because you feel that in daily use. The metal HERO torch or the multi-jet Fummo both look and perform like top-shelf gear.

What to consider before buying

Flame type and adjustment

The most important thing: a single flame (precise, shorter reach) or a double/triple flame (faster, more even heating). Adjustable flame strength is a big plus – it lets you tone the fire down for a delicate VapCap tip or turn it up for dabbing. One adjustable torch can handle several different devices.

Type and availability of gas

Torches usually run on highly refined butane or isobutane. Cleaner gas burns more steadily and doesn’t clog the nozzle, so it’s worth picking up a trusted supply, such as Atomic or Silver Match Isobutane. Without gas even the best torch is useless, so it pays to keep a spare can at home.

Build and durability

Cheaper plastic lighters are great to start with, but they wear out faster under heavy use. Metal models (like the HERO) and anodized ones cost more, yet they stand up better to daily use and heat. If you vaporize regularly, a sturdier torch quickly pays you back in reliability.

Choose your torch at VapeFully

Our range covers both cheap starter lighters and powerful dabbing torches from brands such as PROF, Fummo, HERO, Honest, KOST, Silver Match and Atomic. We look at them from the perspective of someone using a specific piece of gear, not just the spec sheet – whether you can actually heat your tip comfortably with them, whether the flame is steady and whether the gas for them is easy to find.

We draw on our own testing, customer feedback and the know-how of VapoManiak, who has been reviewing butane vaporizers since 2016. That’s how we can tell you which torch fits your DynaVap, Vapman or dabbing gear.

If you’re putting your kit together, take a look at spare parts and replacement accessories as well as induction heaters – the latter being a flameless alternative to a torch, if you’d rather heat your VapCap consistently without an open flame.
