What’s in the box

Use only the original accessories supplied with the device. The battery charges directly inside the vaporizer via the included USB-C cable.
First use
Before you pack the first chamber, do two things: a full charge and a burn-off. This removes factory residue from the heating system.
- Charge the device fully with the included USB-C cable. Charging is complete when the battery icon on the screen is full.
- Turn the vaporizer on with three clicks of the power button and set the highest temperature.
- Leave the device with an empty chamber until it switches itself off.
- Repeat the burn-off 3 times before you load herb for the first time.
Step-by-step operation
Operating the POTV Lobo comes down to a single power button and the temperature controls. Long, slow, even draws work best with this type of heating.
- Grind your herb to a medium-fine consistency. Fill the chamber to the top but do not tamp it down, because hot air needs to flow freely.
- Turn the vaporizer on with three clicks of the power button.
- Set the temperature with the adjustment buttons. The available range is 160 to 221°C.
- Wait for the device to vibrate. The vibration signals that the set temperature has been reached.
- Take long, slow and even draws. Start vaporizing at around 180-185°C and raise the temperature gradually for a stronger effect.
Open the settings menu by holding the power button and plus at the same time. You navigate the menu with the plus and minus buttons and confirm with the power button. Here you can switch the temperature scale from Celsius to Fahrenheit, set a session timer and flip the screen vertically.
Stealth mode dims the screen heavily. Turn it on by holding the power button and minus for three seconds, and use the same gesture to restore full brightness. You can check the battery level even when the device is off by pressing the power button once.

Cleaning and maintenance
Regular cleaning of the parts that touch herb and vapour keeps the flavour clean and the device running evenly. Clean the screen and the glass mouthpiece with isopropyl alcohol. Wipe the heating chamber with a cotton swab soaked in isopropyl alcohol.
Wash silicone and plastic parts in warm water with washing-up liquid. After soaking and washing, rinse thoroughly and dry every part before reassembly.
After cleaning, run a burn-off: start the device with an empty chamber at the highest temperature and leave it until it switches itself off. Repeat this process 3 times.
Most common problems (POTV Lobo)
Vapour is too warm
On the short stock 3D mouthpiece the vapour can run warmer than the device is really capable of. Buy an additional cooling glass or a longer mouthpiece and lower the temperature by a few degrees. It is a matter of configuration, not a hardware fault.
High draw resistance
The Lobo has a somewhat restricted airflow by design, so a certain amount of resistance is normal. Check that you have not packed the herb too tightly and that the screen is not clogged. Pack the herb loosely and clean the screen after sessions.
The screen clogs up quickly
The Lobo screen is fine-meshed and small in diameter, so resin sticks to it easily. Clean it with the brush after every session, and be especially thorough when using the device without a dosing capsule. A dosing capsule significantly slows down how quickly the screen and the inside of the device get dirty.
Battery does not last long
A single 18650 cell lasts around 40 minutes of operation, which is a few sessions. Since the battery is replaceable, you can carry a charged spare cell and swap it on the go. If a fresh battery dies after a few minutes, submit the device for a warranty claim.
