DynaVap answers to FMJ!

The Armored Cap is DynaVap’s latest creation, which aims to respond to the increasing popularity of solutions that provide greater heat retention, such as the Simrell Collection’s FMJ. Improved heat retention means the chamber stays warmer for longer, allowing for quicker use without multiple heating cycles.

The perfect water filtration solution

The Armored Cap can be used both traditionally and with water filtration. We have to admit that the Armored Cap comes into its own when used the latter way – only then such large amounts of dense vapor can be produced. Simply attach the Armored Cap to your DynaVap vaporizer, which is in turn connected to a water filter and heat it with a torch lighter – there’s no need to rotate it during heating!

The Armored Cap works with induction!

Unlike other similar solutions, the Armored Cap can be used in combination with an induction heater, which is a real revolution! The user is no longer limited to using a torch lighter to enjoy the benefits of the cap, which previously discouraged induction heater owners from using accessories such as the FMJ. The Armored Cap is compatible with induction heaters, performing as effectively as with a torch lighter!

A must-have for DynaVap fans

If you haven’t yet experimented with heat retention in a DynaVap vaporizer, but are curious to try it, the Armored Cap is the best solution for this purpose! Don’t miss out on this accessory and take your VapCap experience to a new level! We highly recommend it!

Cap is genius - with its help we'll perform a complete extraction in one heating. If we do it skillfully - we won't burn the herb, which is easy to do with a standard cap. Unfortunately, the downside is that the Armored Cap heats up the vaporizer body very strongly - it's hard to keep the coupling closed (it burns). Additionally - the cap reaches all the way to the outer seal, so it's easy to scorch it from the temperature. Generally great to use with a piece of good glass (preferably filled with water) - I probably wouldn't dare to use it without a bong for fear of burning. Nevertheless, for conscious users - I highly recommend it. It's a premium product.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. It gives good taste, a specific hit, no need to turn, the session is pleasantly longer.

At the beginning of my review, I would like to mention that before purchasing the Armored Cap, I already owned an FMJ from Simrell's stable, and buying this novelty from Dynavap seemed unnecessary to me. Additionally, the small number of substantive opinions and comparisons of both products only reinforced my conviction. Tempted by a promotion and the first flattering information from "colleagues in the trade," I placed an order for this gadget. I was surprised that the shipment arrived a few days earlier than planned. Thanks to this, I had the entire weekend to conduct tests, all with a titanium tip. For the first test, I chose a 3D glass adapter and a dry bong. The torch went into action. Heating the Armored Cap actually requires a bit more time than the FMJ. The flame was directed near the D/A letters on the cap's surface. Click, pause, click. Here we go. After inhaling into my bong, a wonderful waterfall of dense milk quickly filled the entire vessel with puffy warm clouds. I always envied this effect from more experienced colleagues whose videos I could see online. Now I have my own warm milk milking machine. Taste? A noticeable smoked accent, which means the extraction was performed very effectively and impressively, as evidenced by the amount of vapor released. Strong and specific vapor. Herb used as I like, dark brown. One heating was enough. For the second test, the adapter with the Armored tip mounted on a J Hook. Once again, a pleasant view of dense vapor flowing through glass. I love this "pipe puffing" like Gandalf visiting Hobbiton. The Armored Cap allowed me many cool draws. This time I heated slightly higher, above the D letter, which rewarded me with a gentler taste, similar to what FMJ gives. So it confirms that the higher we heat, the smaller the extraction, lower heating = more power. Excellent product, works really well for me, I have FMJ, I consider it a good solution, in my opinion it's more convenient, works flawlessly, accelerates extraction.

Here is the translation: This is my assessment. It works like FMJ or Golden Roast (but without an overlay), there are no doubts about that. Unfortunately, contrary to assurances that "Armored Cap works with induction!" this is not entirely true (however, it is but not completely). The width/diameter of the Armored Cap is 12 mm, while the hole in my Orion V2 induction heater is 11.5 mm. The diameter of the Captive Cap is 10.5 mm and fits comfortably in the heater. Maybe other heaters in the Vapefully offer have a larger diameter, or it refers to the heater visible on the DynaVap - The Wand™* page. However, it's worth considering purchasing if you're looking at induction heaters (with a hole below 12 mm). I bought the Armored Cap mainly with the heater in mind, and if I had known it doesn't work with mine, I would not have decided to buy it. * from 'The Armored Cap' description on https://www.dynavap.com/products/the-armored-cap "Induction Heater compatibility varies due to the increased diameter of the cap (12mm). When used with an induction heater it may require multiple heat cycles to achieve the same results as a torch. Does work with The Wand (no adaptor)." So, The Wand™ indeed. Is there any chance of the "Wand" appearing in the Vapefully offer? After a few days of testing, one must admit that using the Armored Cap with a torch is great. The fact that the AC has thick walls means it can absorb more heat than a regular Cap, so it needs slightly longer heating with a torch to achieve the desired effect. However, it partially fulfilled its required function, and I hope the Vapefully - The Wand™ / https://www.dynavap.com/products/the-wand will appear :)
