Solid, compact construction
After vaporizers Storm and Spirit by Storm were very well received by vaping fans, their manufacturer released another device – Sapphire by Storm. It’s a very compact vaporizer – in terms of size, it resembles the PAX series. The cover is made of metal with black, matte coating – it’s both durable and inconspicuous.
The mouthpiece is made of Zirconia ceramics and it’s attached under a magnetic lid that’s designed in such a way it doesn’t accidentally open in your pocket. Under the lid, there’s an oval chamber for dry herb, almost identical as the one in Spirit by Storm model. It’s made of ceramic and houses c.a. 0.25 g of ground herb. On the side of the device, you’ll find the only button, along with 5 LED diodes that serve for communication with the user and a micro-USB port for charging.

Using Sapphire by Stroprm is pure pleasure. The device produces smooth, tasty, plentiful and perfectly cooled vapor. There are 5 temperatures settings to choose from: 180, 190, 200, 210 and 220 degrees Celsius, which is a wide enough range to guarantee satisfying vaporization.
Simple, intuitive use
The use of Sapphire by Storm is incredibly simple – you control all the functions with just one button. By rapidly pressing it a few times, you will switch the device on and off. This is my first vaporizer that I started using. First impression - Super! Solid and at the same time discreet device. Very easy to use, practically not requiring instructions - fully intuitive. After 2 years of use, it still works, the battery holds up and it's still a cool device. However, I must admit that it's not perfect. The basic minus is the throat-biting vapor. The vapor path is very short, which makes you inhale very hot vapor and the mouthpiece gets very hot - especially during a longer session. You can minimize this problem by using the lowest vaporization temperatures, but then the extraction is limited. The second minus is cleaning - the vaporizer collects a lot of condensate and requires disassembly and thorough cleaning with isopropanol every few sessions. Anyway - I remember it fondly. As a first vaporizer, it served its purpose and still works correctly, which is a definite plus. The biggest plus, however, is the low price.
