Tinymight 2 Black Edition Vaporizer – fully convection device
Tinymight 2 Black Edition is built on a fully convection heating system: hot air flows through the dry herbs, extracting active compounds evenly and extremely fast. The heater reaches the set temperature in just 3-5 seconds. The chamber capacity is adjustable – it works well both for microdosing and for standard sessions of about 0.2 g.
Fully convection heating translates directly into flavour and vapor quality. It also provides very efficient and rapid extraction. A full load of Tinymight 2 Black Edition can be used up in just 3-5 draws. This is delivered by a high-power 75 W heater.
Tinymight 2 Black Edition Vaporizer – zirconium mouthpiece instead of titanium
The biggest change involves the vapor path: the titanium and glass mouthpieces known from earlier versions have been replaced with a polished black zirconium mouthpiece that is 80 mm long. Zirconium heats up much more slowly than glass and titanium, which means cooler vapor at the lips even during intense sessions. The material is also significantly harder to break than glass. The polished mouthpiece surface is very easy to keep clean – a quick wipe is enough.

The original cooling unit from the standard Tinymight 2, built from a set of screws and nuts, has been replaced with a part machined from a single piece of stainless steel. This patent-pending solution provides vapor diffusion, which results in more effective cooling while preserving full adjustability of the chamber size. Combined with the new zirconium mouthpiece, this delivers vapor that is incomparably better cooled. Interestingly, the cooling unit works correctly even without seals – something appreciated by those who want to minimise synthetic materials in the vapor path. The new design is also very easy to disassemble and clean.
Tinymight 2 Black Edition Vaporizer – two operating modes and a new boost
Tinymight 2 Black Edition retains the proven split between session mode (120-230°C) and on-demand mode (120-240°C), and each has gained a new function.
On-demand mode – the heater is active only while the button is held down. After the vibration ready signal, simply release the button and immediately press and hold it again – a double vibration confirms that the elevated boost temperature has been reached. This lets you get a one-off, more intense draw without turning the dial. On-demand mode, both at standard temperature and with boost, works best paired with a water filter.
Session mode – the heater holds the set temperature between draws for the full duration of the session. This version adds an automatic shut-off timer: if the device is left in active mode, after a few minutes of inactivity it will switch itself off, saving battery and preventing overheating.
Temperature is adjusted with an analogue dial at the bottom of the device. The lack of a display is a deliberate choice by the manufacturer – communication with the user happens through LEDs and vibrations.
Tinymight 2 Black Edition Vaporizer – load dry herbs into the mouthpiece or straight into the unit
The internal sleeve in which the mouthpiece is mounted has been redesigned. With Tinymight 2 Black Edition you have 2 options: the classic loading of dry herbs into the chamber at the end of the mouthpiece (i.e. as before) and a completely new option of pouring herbs straight into the sleeve and pressing them down with the mouthpiece.
In this second method the cooling unit is moved to the very end of the mouthpiece, so the screen inside it presses the herbs sitting in the sleeve, under the mouthpiece. How deeply you insert the mouthpiece therefore determines how much herb fits in the sleeve. As you can guess, pouring dry herbs straight into the device allows much larger amounts to be used at once – a great solution for group sessions or simply when you have bigger needs.
The new screen at the bottom of the sleeve is two-layered and has two different mesh sizes: the outer layer stops larger particles, the inner one blocks fines that previously could pass through to the heater. The screen is also easier to replace than in the previous version.
Loading herbs straight into the device is made easier by a new stainless steel funnel, which can be mounted on top of the housing instead of the standard mouthpiece collar. The funnel protects the air intake openings from contamination and lets you pour dry herbs straight into the chamber without spilling – especially handy on the go.
Tinymight 2 Black Edition Vaporizer – battery and charging
The kit includes a more powerful battery than in the classic version, the Molicel P30B, with higher capacity than the previous P26A/P28A cells. Higher capacity means better device performance at low charge levels – the latest Black Edition works just as well on a full battery as on a nearly empty one. The battery is replaceable without tools, allowing quick and easy cell swaps. Charging is done via a USB-C port with fast charging, compatible with USB-C PD, Quick Charge and standard chargers and power banks.
Tinymight 2 Black Edition Vaporizer – housing and variants
Tinymight 2 Full Black – housing made from solid oak in black. A special dyeing process penetrates the entire material without masking the natural grain, so the wood texture remains clearly visible. The external aluminum parts are black and anodized. Oak provides good thermal insulation, so the housing does not heat up significantly during use.
Tinymight 2 Black Walnut – housing made from American walnut (known from the classic Tinymight 2 version), with external aluminum parts in black anodization. Walnut has better thermal insulation properties than oak and a smoother grain structure, so the device sits more securely in the hand. The visual difference is subtle, but clearly noticeable to the touch.
Both variants have identical technical specifications and kit contents – the only difference is the housing material.

This is not a device for beginners – primarily due to the power on offer, but also because the analogue temperature control, lack of display and several operating modes need a moment to get used to. Users who previously owned the standard Tinymight 2 or another convection vaporizer should feel right at home from the first session.
Tinymight 2 Black Edition Vaporizer – VapoManiak’s review
Even in its standard version, Tinymight 2 was hard to beat for vapor quality in the portable segment. Black Edition does not change this position – it strengthens it. The new cooling unit machined from a single piece of steel is a step forward both in terms of usability and aesthetics: fewer moving parts, better airflow, easier cleaning.
The zirconium mouthpiece is a change you feel instantly. The vapor is noticeably cooler at the lips compared to glass or titanium – especially during faster on-demand sessions. On top of that, zirconium does not shatter when dropped, which is no small advantage in everyday use.
The boost function in on-demand mode is something that was missing from the start. Now, instead of turning the dial and waiting, one extra click is enough. Particularly useful for those who like intense single draws at a higher temperature without switching modes.
One of the few things that has not changed – no display. This is intentional, but new users should know that the temperature is not shown digitally here. After a few sessions it becomes natural.
Tinymight 2 Black Edition is a piece of kit for the demanding. You get more than in the standard version, and in every aspect – from vapor quality, through usability comfort, to what is in the box.
