Like its predecessor, it bases its operation on the combustion of butane. A special heat distribution system removes the heat from the flame and passes it onto the walls of the heating chamber. The device heats up to the default temperature in as little as 30 seconds and from that moment on, it maintains a constant temperature of 200 °C. Thanks to being butane-powered, you never have to worry about a dead battery. If you have a can of gas, you can recharge the vaporizer within a few seconds. If you do not, you’ll find it in every kiosk, and once you charge it, it will guarantee you about two hours of fun. The device placed vertically indicates the amount of remaining butane so you can always check the status of the fuel.
WIRSPR looks much better than Iolite. The design is simpler and much more discreet. Unfortunately, like its predecessor, it is a bit noisy during the operation and it makes that characteristic hissing sound of gas burnt under pressure. Wondering whether it is safe for your health? Don’t worry. The burnt butane is released in the form of a harmless vapor through special openings, so there is no reason to worry that you inhale harmful substances.
With the WISPR comes a great alternative to common herb grinders, the so-called card-grinder. It is a flat piece of metal shaped like a card, with appropriately profiled holes, which you can use just as you would use a grater. It is a discreet tool for your pocket and it lets you get more finely ground herbs than in the case of a traditional grinder.
