User Manual PAX 3

PAX 3 is a small, discreet conduction vaporizer that fits in the palm of your hand and connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth. What’s in the box

Besides the device itself, the kit includes a charging cable, a Half-Pack lid for smaller loads and a concentrate insert. The exact contents depend on the kit version, so check them on the product page before buying.

First use

1. Charge it fully. After unpacking, connect the PAX 3 with the included cable. The LED bars flash while charging, and when they all glow steadily, the battery is full.
2. Pair it with the app (optional). Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone, open the app and shake the vaporizer until the blue LEDs start flashing. That is the signal it is ready to pair.
3. Clean and burn off. Set the highest temperature and let the device run for at least 10 minutes. Then clean it following the section below and repeat the burn-off. This removes the factory taste and disinfects the vapour path.

Step-by-step operation

1. Pack the chamber. Fill it with ground herb. For a smaller amount, use the Half-Pack lid from the kit.
2. Switch the device on. Press the top lid, which doubles as the button.
3. Set the temperature. You can do it manually or in the app. The LEDs show the selected level, and the working range is 180-215°C.
4. Take your draws. Inhale slowly and evenly. With conduction, calm technique matters, not how hard you pull.

To check the battery level, give the device a gentle shake: each lit LED bar means about 25% charge.

The PAX 3 handles concentrates too. Make sure the chamber is clean, insert the concentrate insert from the kit, set the highest temperature and keep the device upright. After a concentrate session, wait 2-3 minutes before removing the insert from the chamber.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Remove the mouthpiece and the chamber lid.
• Clean the vapour path with isopropyl alcohol (ISO), ideally using a pipe cleaner.
• Soak the mouthpieces, the screen and the other small parts in ISO. Do not soak the chamber lid.
• After cleaning, rinse all the parts with boiling water, dry them and reassemble the vaporizer.
• Finish by repeating the burn-off at the highest temperature.

Clean the vapour path regularly. In the conduction-based PAX 3, condensate builds up quickly, and a dirty vapour path is the number one cause of weaker vapour and draw resistance.

Most common problems (PAX 3)

Little or no vapour

This is the most common false alarm with a PAX. Conduction needs herb ground almost to dust and packed firmly in the chamber, plus slow, even draws with 20-30 second breaks between them. Inhaling too fast cools the chamber and gives thin vapour. For smaller loads, use the Half-Pack lid, not a loosely filled full chamber.

A genuine fault means no vapour despite a proper pack, good technique and a clean vapour path. In that case, make a warranty claim.

The device loses its temperature setting

Switching the PAX 3 off resets the set temperature. If you switch it off to stir the herb, you set the temperature again after switching it back on. This is normal behaviour, not a defect: simply do not switch the device off mid-session.

It won’t charge or switch on

Check that the device is seated properly on the charger, then try a different cable and a different socket. Verify the battery level with a shake. If the device does not respond despite a working power supply, you have a full 10 years of manufacturer warranty with servicing in the European Union.

Smell from an unused device

A PAX 3 packed with herb and set aside for later gives off a noticeable smell. This is a design characteristic, not a fault. If it bothers you, empty the chamber after each session.

Warranty

A PAX 3 bought at VapeFully comes with a full 10-year manufacturer warranty, with PAX Labs servicing in the European Union (Germany, the Netherlands), so your device never leaves the EU. Registering the device is recommended but not required for servicing. Watch out for one exclusion: forcing out a stuck screen from a neglected, dirty chamber can rip out the heating chamber, and that is not covered by the warranty. The PAX 3 is intended solely for plant material and only for adults aged 18 or over. Keep the device out of the reach of children.
