Fenix Mini is one of the smallest portable vaporizers on the market. Don’t let size fool you, though, the quality and quantity of the vapor it produces will surely surprise you! Fenix Mini offers a hybrid heating system, mostly convection-based, which is rare in this price range. What’s more, the vaporizer cools the vapor down perfectly, which makes the draws very smooth.

The vaporization temperatures can be set with a one-degree Celsius precision and the device heats-up super fast – it takes less than 30 seconds! Along with its high level of extraction efficiency, Fenix Mini vaporizer is one of the best value for money options on the market! Well-recommended!

Compact size, solid construction

The size of the Fenix Mini Vaporizer can surprise you – it’s so small, you can fit it in every pocket or easily hide it in your hand. The cover is made of metal, rendering it very sturdy and durable. Thanks to its black and matte finish, it’s also very discreet.

Fenix Mini vaporizer is made of high-quality materials and it definitely feels like a very solid device. On the side of the device, there are three buttons – the power button and two buttons for temperature regulation. On the top of the device, just beside the mouthpiece, there is a clear display that shows – among others – the temperature and the battery level. Once you detach the mouthpiece, you’ll find a quite small herb chamber.

Recently, another version of Fenix Mini has been released: the Smono 3.3 Vaporizer. It has the same design, but instead of a standard, plastic mouthpiece, it has a glass mouthpiece that guarantees a better vapor flavor. The absence of the plastic standard mouthpiece in this set can be considered a small drawback: some users prefer also having access to this option, due to its durability and discreteness.

Efficient heating system, great vapor!

Fenix Mini Vaporizer heats the flowers through a hybrid system (a combination of conduction and convection heat). We don’t have detailed technical data, but our experts claim that heating is about 80% convective and that the chamber walls only minimally heat the material.

The heating system is therefore very efficient and it helps preserve the herbs. The vapor produced by Fenix Mini is superb – smooth, properly cooled, dense and rich in active substances. In this category, Fenix Mini could easily compete with some much more expensive vaporizers. The chamber is relatively small (it houses max. 0.15 g of dry herb), but it efficiently extracts all the active ingredients, reducing the amount of herbs you use, which translates into savings.

Full temperature control, very easy to use

The temperature can be set with a one-degree precision, within 160 to 221° C. This range allows for the vaporization of many different flowers. The device heats up very quickly – it needs just 30 seconds to reach the selected temperature, a quite impressive performance for such a small device.

The box includes a quartz insert for concentrate vaporization, but when we tried it, we didn’t find it did such a good job. Therefore, even though in theory the device is dual-use (able to vaporize both dry herb and concentrates), in practice we’d recommend using Fenix Mini only for dry herb. Except for this small flaw, Fenix Mini is a great vaporizer, it’s easy to use and the inhalation technique is pleasantly  intuitive. Even a beginner will handle it with ease. Fast charging through micro-USB

Fenix Mini Vaporizer is powered by a built-in battery with 1600 mAh capacity. It’s a 18500 lithium-polymer battery. A fully-charged battery allows for 50 minutes of constant use, which may not be a mind-blowing result, but it’s actually not that bad, for such a small device. It takes about 90 minutes to fully charge, which is a relatively short time.

The battery is charged through a micro-USB port, which means you can charge it with a powerbank, too. It’s a pity that the battery isn’t replaceable, but considering the price, this vaporizer offers many more functions and better quality than many other devices in this range.

Fenix Mini Vaporizer – great value for money

Fenix Mini is one of our favorites in the under 100 euros category. It’s a very good quality vaporizer, which mainly employs convection heat, producing satisfying, smooth and flavorful vapor. And last but not least, it has a very inviting and affordable price. Well-recommended!
