PAX FOUR Vaporizer – hybrid heating system for greater efficiency
The vaporizer retains the minimalist design characteristic of the PAX brand and very compact format. Simple one-button operation and four preset temperature modes make the device convenient to use for both beginners and more experienced users.
The PAX FOUR vaporizer uses a new heating system that combines two methods of heating dry herb. The chamber walls heat the material directly through conduction, while simultaneously hot air flowing through the chamber provides additional convection heating.
Such a combination of technologies allows for even heating of the material and more efficient extraction of aromas and active compounds. It’s also worth noting a more open airflow than in the PAX Plus or PAX Mini 2 – it provides many users with more comfortable inhalation. However, it’s not as unrestricted as in the brand’s flagship model, the PAX Flow vaporizer.
Vapor from the PAX Four is intense and satisfying, clean in taste and produced in abundance. The difference compared to the previous conduction models in the PAX series is very noticeable here, of course in favor of the PAX FOUR.
PAX FOUR Vaporizer – four temperature modes and intuitive operation
The vaporizer’s operation was designed with maximum simplicity in mind. The device is controlled with a single button, which is responsible for turning it on and off as well as changing the heating mode.
The PAX FOUR vaporizer offers four temperature levels ranging from 190°C to 220°C. Each mode is signaled by a different color of LED lights in the device logo, allowing you to quickly recognize the current setting. A built-in vibration system informs the user when the set temperature has been reached or when the session has ended.
Temperature modes in the PAX FOUR vaporizer:
- Purple – 190°C
- Green – 200°C
- Yellow – 210°C
- Red – 220°C
Lower temperatures provide more aromatic and mild vapor, while higher modes generate denser vapor and allow achieving maximum extraction efficiency. Heating takes approximately 50 seconds, which is slightly longer than in the earlier, conduction models from the PAX series.
PAX FOUR vaporizer – compact design and solid materials
The vaporizer body is made of aluminum, which ensures durability and very good resistance to damage accompanying daily use. The characteristic textured surface improves the grip of the device and prevents it from slipping out of your hand.
The device is small and lightweight – weighing approximately 125 g and only about 11 cm in height, which is why it easily fits in a pocket or small bag. The flat mouthpiece perfectly fitted with the housing makes the vaporizer discreet as well as convenient to carry.
PAX FOUR Vaporizer – spacious chamber and convenient filling
The heating chamber is made of stainless steel and holds up to approximately 0.3 g of dry material. It was designed to make quick and clean filling easy.
The funnel-shaped design guides the material directly to the center, reducing the risk of spilling dry material during packing. For best results, the manufacturer recommends using a medium-fine consistency of dry material and only gently tamping the chamber contents.
PAX FOUR Vaporizer – battery and USB-C charging
The vaporizer is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 2800 mAh, which provides approximately 50 minutes of operation on a single charge. In practice, this translates to about four or five full vaporization sessions. This is a shorter operating time than previous conduction models and similar to the Flow model, which also offers hybrid heating. This is a typical example of a “something for something” situation – we get a more efficient heating system that delivers more intense and smoother vapor, but it consumes more energy.
Charging is done via a USB‑C port (the manufacturer abandoned the dedicated magnetic charger), and a full battery charge takes approximately 90-100 minutes. The charge level can be checked at any time by shaking the device – the LEDs in the logo will show the current battery status.
