The manufacturer offers 2 operating modes here, a hybrid heating system with a convection advantage (80%), as well as brilliant vapor quality. What new features does Solo 3 introduce? In terms of design and construction, not much has been changed compared to the Arizer Solo 2 Vaporizer and Arizer Solo 2 MAX. We still have a slightly rounded tall construction that is very solidly made and presents itself minimally. Aluminum was used primarily for the production of the housing. However, the entire vapor path is made of glass. The exceptional refinement of the entire device deserves special mention, excellent fitting of elements and high-quality materials – that is, the overall build quality is outstanding.

Arizer Solo 3 Vaporizer offers a much more powerful heating system than the previous generations. A more powerful heating element was used here, but that’s not all. Solo 3 heats the material primarily through convection. In addition, the manufacturer implemented 2 selectable modes of operation – session and on-demand. The device keeps up with vapor production regardless of power or inhalation speed. Long slow inhalations are no longer necessary, even shorter quick draws are enough to achieve satisfactory results.

The Arizer Solo series has stood out from the beginning with its glass vapor path and integrated glass chamber for dry material. The same solution is used here. With the Solo 3, you get 2 sizes of glass – standard and XL, which differ in chamber capacity. This way, both beginners and so-called “heavy users” will find something for themselves.

It’s worth knowing that Arizer also produces other series of Vaporizers. Solo is the “default” and key one – but we can also choose the Arizer Air MAX Vaporizer or Arizer Air SE. These are more compact and mobile solutions compared to the Solo series.

Arizer Solo 3 from a technical perspective – specification and functionality 🔧

Arizer Solo 3 introduces a completely new heating system. The manufacturer chose hybrid heating with a convection advantage (approx. 80%).

It’s worth noting the significant differences between session vaporization and on-demand. These are not modes as in other Vaporizers, where we are dealing with session Vaporizers with an on-demand function or vice versa. Solo 3 quite clearly emphasizes the differences between session vaporization and on-demand. In this regard, the device stands out among other top premium Vaporizers.

In session mode, the Arizer Solo 3 Vaporizer offers precise temperature control from 50 to 220 degrees Celsius. In our experience, however, Solo 3 behaves as if it actually works at slightly higher temperatures than those displayed on the screen. The Vaporizer also has several pre-programmed temperature settings that we can define ourselves.

In turn, in on-demand mode we have 5 programmed settings (180, 190, 200, 210, 220°C), the so-called Heat Levels. The temperature range in on-demand mode is therefore narrower than in session mode.

Heating of the Vaporizer is, on the other hand, lightning-fast – it takes a maximum of 15 seconds, although most often it will be a much faster process.

Vapor from Arizer Solo 3 is definitely premium quality. A powerful heating element offers fast extraction, so you can count on very large clouds even at lower temperatures. In addition to this, the device has a completely glass vapor path and chamber. Thanks to this, Arizer Solo 3 ensures very clean and full vapor flavor – this is a distinctive feature of this series of Vaporizers.

Arizer Solo 3 has a new interface and a color display. However, the device requires performing a “safe unlock” when turning it on. This means pressing a combination of buttons left-top-right, which takes time and can be somewhat irritating.

This Vaporizer is powered by a dual built-in 26650 type battery. Despite a powerful heating system, Arizer Solo 3 offers really long work on a single charge. The manufacturer declares battery life at the level of up to 3 hours when operating in session mode. When it comes to on-demand, we can perform a maximum of 100 inhalations on a single charge. In both cases, these are phenomenal performance.

Charging is done via USB-C port, and we receive a wall charger in the set. The Vaporizer also has a passthrough function – it can be used while charging. Importantly, the manufacturer advises against using chargers other than the original.

The Arizer Solo 3 Vaporizer comes with a rich set of additional accessories. In the box we receive a wall charger, a cleaning tool, a standard and XL mouthpiece, an adapter for a 14.5 mm water filter in standard and XL versions, spare screens, and protective tubes for mouthpieces along with caps. 

So we get everything we need to conveniently use the device, and a little more. Currently, few devices on the market offer such an extensive “starter” set.

How does Arizer Solo 3 perform in practice? 😮‍💨

A key feature of Arizer Solo 3 is extremely efficient production of very dense vapor. The speed of extraction means you can comfortably use the vaporizer regardless of the inhalation technique used. A powerful heating element guarantees rapid heating and ensures you extract the maximum amount of active substances from the herb in a short time.

Arizer Solo 3 was designed for vaporization of herbs. Unfortunately, without additional accessories, vaporization of concentrates with it is not recommended. You can use THC herb, CBD, CBG, lavender, lemongrass, hops or almost any other herbs. We can be sure that the device will always fully deliver the flavor of the specific plant material and its effects.

This vaporizer works best at temperatures around 180 to 220 degrees Celsius. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the device noticeably uses higher temperatures than those declared on the display. 

In the case of vaporization in on-demand mode, you can use Heat Levels – pre-programmed settings. There are up to 5 to choose from, ranging from 180 to 220 degrees Celsius. In our assessment, the third, middle setting works best.

When choosing a vaporizer, of course for most users the most important factor is vapor quality. Arizer Solo 3 ranks among the best devices on the market in this regard. Even a small draw ensures full flavor and dense vapor. 

You can use a standard or XL mouthpiece. The latter is designed for people with larger needs – it holds more herb and offers better airflow thanks to an additional hole in the chamber base. In this case, the effects are very pronounced, which is why we do not recommend using the XL mouthpiece if you are a beginner user. A smaller chamber will work even for microdosing, because you can fill just 0.1 g of herb and still get a fully satisfying session.

Session mode, as the name suggests, is designed for longer sessions, the length of which will depend on the temperature, the chosen mouthpiece, as well as the moisture and resin content of the herb used. We can certainly adjust the timer length over a wide range, but the enormous extraction speed of this model means that we often use up the chamber before the timer on the vaporizer ends. 

On-demand mode, on the other hand, allows you to take inhalations, longer or shorter, whenever you want and only then is the herb heated. Later we can put the vaporizer down – it won’t heat up, the heating element will be deactivated. This mode is ideal for use with a water pipe.

Arizer Solo 3 is like a Swiss Army knife in the world of vaporizers – versatile, reliable and elegant. With this device, even short inhalations can give you effects as if you spent half a day on deep breathing. And if you inhale too much through the XL mouthpiece, well, you might feel like you’ve conquered Mount Everest – just in the world of herbs!

The vapor cooling system in the Arizer Solo 3 is unfortunately quite a simple construction. Vapor flows directly from the chamber to the user’s mouth through a glass mouthpiece. There are no bends or additional grooves here – at high vaporization temperatures you can feel quite warm vapor. It’s worth considering external cooling accessories like a water filter or 3D mouthpiece. A dedicated 14.5 mm adapter is included in the set, you don’t need to buy it separately.

Using Arizer Solo 3 is very simple, but unfortunately it’s hard to talk about mobility here. We load the herb into the chamber, which is integrated with the mouthpiece. This is a separate element of the vaporizer, which somewhat facilitates filling “stationary”, but outside the home it can be very inconvenient. Everything is configured on a clear color screen using buttons. There’s not much to criticize here – the operation is intuitive and simple.

Arizer’s new proposal works best during vaporization at home or with friends. The device offers fast extraction (thanks to which the pace of inhalation is of secondary importance, nor is any special inhalation technique necessary), as well as intuitive operation. Large dimensions, glass that can easily break, and somewhat indiscreet chamber filling mean that this is not the best proposal when we want to vaporize outside the home or travel with our vaporizer.

As we mentioned earlier, this model works brilliantly when vaporizing with a water filter. Fast extraction, great convection advantage, and a completely glass vapor path mean that Arizer Solo 3 generates huge and dense clouds of pure-tasting vapor. When connected to a water filter, we get even more vapor, and also eliminate the problem of inhaling hot vapor.

Arizer Solo 3 is a comfortable and reliable device, which is however quite large, and glass elements don’t offer very good durability. The most important thing remains the speed of extraction, as well as the quality of vapor definitely from the highest shelf. At the time of writing this review, the device costs €348 (approximately), and when buying from VapeFully in a set with it you also receive a water filter valued at €31 (approximately). Arizer Solo 3 may seem expensive, however it is a smaller amount than competing premium vaporizers and at the same time an amount adequate to the quality and capabilities of this device.

What are the most important advantages and disadvantages of the Arizer Solo 3 Vaporizer? ✅❎

The greatest advantages of this model are wonderful vapor quality and taste, as well as perfect reproduction of the effects of the herbs used. On the positive side, there is also precise temperature control and repeatability of effects.

Quick and effective extraction is thanks to the new powerful heating system. Thanks to it, the vaporizer works very well in both session mode and on-demand. User convenience is influenced by, among other things, rapid heating, which usually takes up to 15 seconds.

Very large, double 26650 battery is also a huge advantage. You can perform many sessions on one charge – more than in previous models with similar battery life, because now sessions are definitely shorter. Arizer Solo 3 will work for several days without the need to plug it into a charger, even with intensive use.

Another advantage is the fact that the manufacturer introduced a new interface and readable color display in this model. All information is clear, the controls are easy to use, and it also adds aesthetic value to the vaporizer.

It is also worth noting the rich content of the set. Arizer Solo 3 comes in a box with various mouthpieces, adapters, spare parts, etc. Such a rich package of accessories is a certain exception on the market.

The Arizer Solo 3 Vaporizer will also be very convenient to use. The glass mouthpiece integrated with the chamber is very easy to clean and practically only requires regular cleaning. The easiest way to clean it is to use isopropyl alcohol, such as VapeCleaner preparation. You won’t find herb particles anywhere outside the chamber itself – just make sure that nothing falls out of the chamber onto the heater cover.

Arizer Solo 3 puts up some resistance on inhalation, meaning it has somewhat limited airflow. Not everyone will be a fan of such a solution. Of course, the resistance remains within acceptable limits even for a beginner user. It also depends on the level of grinding the material and how tightly it is packed in the mouthpiece.

Unfortunately, this model, like the previous ones, is not very discreet. Solo 3 is a large device, which also requires some time to properly charge. This is not only a limitation of discretion but also mobility. This model will work rather poorly when vaporizing outside the home, while traveling, or even during transport. There is also a risk of breaking the glass, which requires repurchasing accessories.

As a minor disadvantage, one can also consider the need for specific charging of the vaporizer. Due to convection operation, you need to grind the material properly, and place the appropriate amount in the chamber. Remember to leave some space there for the heated air to flow through, and there should not be too much material – otherwise it will fall on the heater shield and burn, which is definitely better to avoid.

The Arizer Solo 3 vaporizer offers great vapor quality and wonderfully captures the flavor. The device will work very well for people with high tolerance, patients, and beginner users (for beginners we recommend lower dosing!). Unfortunately, it is not very discreet and mobile. However, it works brilliantly during home vaporization, and combined with a water filter it works wonders. Arizer Solo 3 of course also has some drawbacks, but they are insignificant in light of its many advantages.

Solo 3 is of course a premium vaporizer, which comes with a price. You have to pay over €336 for it. So it’s somewhat cheaper than Tinymight 2 and significantly cheaper than VENTY. We pay a lot here – but we get satisfactorily high quality.

Tips & Tricks, or how to achieve the best effects with the Arizer Solo 3 vaporizer 💨

Arizer Solo 3 with the use of several tips offers brilliant vapor quality and top performance. It’s worth taking care of these issues, and the equipment will last longer and repay itself with dense vapor, brilliant flavor and reliability.

Grind the material to the appropriate consistency 🥦

A convection vaporizer heats the material mainly with heated air that flows through the plant material. Arizer Solo 3 offers the most effective and fastest extraction only under appropriate conditions. Grinding the material to a medium-fine consistency will be key. This will give us better density and fuller flavor of the vapor.

The consistency of the material also affects the effectiveness of the extraction of active substances. This is particularly important in the case of medical marijuana. However, remember not to grind the plant material into powder. This can result in poor airflow and even clogging of the vaporizer.

Pack the chamber correctly 🌿

In addition to the consistency of the material, its amount is also important – the chamber should never be completely full, there should be at least 2-3 mm of free space between its end and the material.

Different amounts of material in the chamber will give different effects – here we recommend experimenting. It is only important that the material does not fall out of the chamber onto the heating element cover.

In our assessment, the best effects are achieved by packing the chamber fully (i.e., almost to the brim), but without excessive compression. There should be space between the material particles through which the heated air will flow. If we pack too much material, the airflow may be blocked or we may increase resistance when inhaling. This negatively affects the effectiveness of extracting active substances.

Arizer Solo 3 comes with two mouthpieces – standard and XL. They differ mainly in the size of the heating chamber. If we expect a longer session and more pronounced effects, it is worth using the XL mouthpiece instead of packing a larger amount of material into the standard accessory.

Test different temperature settings 🌡️

Arizer Solo 3 offers precise temperature control from 50 to 220 degrees Celsius. The highest settings are not necessarily the best ones. It is worth testing different options to adjust the session to your preferences. Your favorite configurations can be saved as 3 available preset settings.

In the case of on-demand vaporization, it is worth testing different Heat Levels. The last two settings, however, offer quite high temperatures, which can translate into vapor that will be too intense for some users. It is worth knowing that lower temperature provides better taste sensations and milder effects. Higher settings provide more effective extraction and more pronounced effects.

Regularly clean your vaporizer 🫧

Before first use, it is worth performing a classic “burn-off“, i.e. running the device at the highest temperature and letting it work for a while. If we want to use this equipment for the first time, it is best to clean the chamber and the entire mouthpiece with isopropyl alcohol, dry it and burn it before first use, i.e. place it (without herbs inside) in the heater cover and let the high temperature evaporate the last remnants of alcohol.

Regular cleaning is very important to extend the life of the vaporizer, as well as to ensure optimal vapor quality during each inhalation. Properly cleaned equipment ensures, first of all, better taste sensations. Additionally, the density and amount of vapor may decrease if we do not properly clean the chamber of herb residue and resin.

In the case of Arizer Solo 3, the entire process is extremely simple. After vaporization is complete, simply wipe the inside of the glass chamber with a stick. Thorough cleaning requires soaking the entire glass mouthpiece in isopropyl alcohol. It is worth doing this every dozen or so sessions.

Choose your own inhalation style 😮‍💨

The manufacturer implemented a distinctive on-demand mode in Arizer Solo 3. We have 5 Heat Levels to choose from, which reflect specific temperatures: 180°C, 190°C, 200°C, 210°C and 220°C. This mode works best for quick inhalations and inhalations using water filters.

In session mode, it is best to configure the temperature independently with an accuracy of 1°C. This mode works better with longer inhalations. A good solution is to combine it with an XL mouthpiece and a lower temperature – in this way we extend the session, providing ourselves with a completely different experience.

Use a water filter 💨

Arizer Solo 3 shows its true face only after connecting to a water filter. This vaporizer was brilliantly adapted to be used in this particular way. It offers a powerful heater and fast extraction. For inhalation through a bong, it is best to use the on-demand mode. After using the 14.5 mm adapter included in the set and a compatible water filter, we get the highest quality vapor that is “smooth” and perfectly cooled.

The manufacturer adds a lot of accessories with the vaporizer. Among them are as many as 2 water adapters – standard and XL. The Solo 3 display rotates when we use it in a bong. Everything is therefore readable even when the device is “upside down”.

Who will the Arizer Solo 3 be a good choice for? 🤔

It is a premium vaporizer first and foremost for people who value the highest quality of vapor available on the market. Arizer Solo 3 is also an ideal choice when it comes to flavor qualities. It can confidently be called equipment for true vaporization connoisseurs.

Of course, Solo 3 is also an interesting proposition for fans of the Arizer brand. The Arizer Solo 3 introduced many improvements and completely new solutions and features. The equipment can be compared to Mighty+, which is the flagship model from Storz & Bickel.
