PAX 3 is the latest version of the legendary PAX portable vaporizers. Just like both previous models, it has a modern design, looks very sleek and stealthy, and produces great quality vapor. The minimalist style, great extraction efficiency and some surprising technological upgrades (such as a lips detector on the mouthpiece) that we know from PAX 2 have now been enhanced by a range of innovative and advanced solutions – even faster heating, vibration notification, dual-use vaporization (dry flowers and extracts) and a full control of the inhalation parameters through a mobile app that’s synced with the vaporizer.

The improvements introduced to PAX 3 are quite significant, even though it doesn’t look much different from the previous versions. One remarkable aesthetic improvement is a new cover polish – PAX 3 boasts a completely matte anodized aluminium outer shell, which grants it a more elegant look.

Quick and always ready

On the inside, the changes are obviously much more important. PAX 3 heats up quite faster – within 16 seconds! Once it reaches the selected temperature, it notifies you through a vibration, a very practical and discrete feature. You can switch the vaporizer on, put it in your pocket and take it out once it’s ready for vaping.

PAX 3 can be synchronized with a mobile app that allows you to set the temperature to a one-degree accuracy. The app also gives you the option to choose the inhalation style that best suits you, depending on whether you prefer the session to be shorter and more intense or slower and more discreet.

Smart vaporizer

PAX 3 vaporizer is a session conduction vaporizer — it vaporizes herbs through direct heat from the metal herb chamber. It is recommended to use up the whole content of the chamber in one go, during one single session. The main drawback of the conduction system is that the chamber tends to hold the heat, thus continuing to consume your herbs, even when you are not directly drawing. This results in a lower extraction efficiency.

However, PAX 3 has come up with a few solutions that significantly reduce this problem and improve the quality of the inhalation. These solutions were already introduced in PAX 2 and they include smart gesture controls. For example, when the lips stop touching the mouthpiece, the chamber begins to cool down slowly, which helps to preserve the herbs.

When you touch the mouthpiece with your lips again, the chamber returns to the set temperature. Another built-in solution to the problem of constant heat production is the smart control through an accelerometer that detects when the vaporizer is not being used (e.g. when you place it on the table) and it automatically lowers the temperature.

Once you pick the vaporizer back up, the temperature will quickly rise again to the configured level. Additionally, PAX 3 heats up and down much faster than previous models, making the time that unwanted heat is in contact with your herbs much shorter. PAX 3 has only one button and it’s hidden under the mouthpiece, which you activate by pressing the middle of the mouthpiece.

Dual-Use

The heating chamber is quite large. In the previous models, it was considered both an advantage (one load provided a full session) and a drawback (it had to be fully loaded). With PAX 3 you get the best of both worlds, as the set comes with a special accessory that permits you to load only half of the chamber.

The Half-pack Lid lets you load the chamber with the amount of herbs that suits your needs with no need to use any extra accessories. The draw resistance is slightly noticeable, but it’s not bothersome. With PAX 3 you can take small, short drags as well as some deeper and longer ones if you want to create large clouds of vapor. 

PAX 3 portable vaporizer is now dual-use thanks to a concentrate insert. You can vaporize dry flowers and extracts, an improvement that was implemented thanks to customer feedback. The quality of the vapor remains in any case supreme — the vaporizer produces rich and aromatic clouds with all materials.

PAX Vapor mobile application

PAX 3 can be used with or without the app. When not employing the app, the vaporizer communicates with the user through 4 LED diodes, arranged in the shape of a characteristic X – PAX’s logo. The diodes have various colors and they light up in various patterns. They inform the user about all the most important parameters, such as the temperature setting (4 options), battery level, and heat-up progress. 

Through the app, the user has access to plenty more information and features. The temperature can be set to a one-degree precision, the lights of the logo can be changed and dimmed, the device can be locked and firmware downloads are notified.

Long-Lasting Battery

The battery has been upgraded, even though PAX 2 was already a leader in its performance. Its capacity has gone up by 17%, which means that once fully charged, it guarantees around 110 minutes of continuous vaping. That’s almost two hours!

This is an outstanding result, especially for a device this size. The charging process is much faster, too – it now only takes  around 1.5 hours. PAX 3 comes with a very comfortable induction charger,  you don’t need to plug any cables in, just place the vaporizer on the charger.

10-year manufacturer’s warranty

One of the most outstanding advantages of PAX 3 is the 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. It’s the longest warranty offered for an electronic portable vaporizer, which gives you complete peace of mind in your investment.
