Silver Match – isobutane for lighters and burners
Silver Match is a gas that allows us to refill almost any lighter or mini-burner. It is convenient, easy to use, and safe in operation. It’s also worth noting that Silver Match isobutane is a highly purified gas without unnecessary additives, which prevents clogging of burners and lighters even with regular refilling. This will help to extend the life of your burner.
Butane and isobutane – what’s the difference?
It’s important to note that this is isobutane, not standard butane. This means that it should not be used with vaporizers where we inhale the fumes of burned gas, such as Sticky Brick or Dreamwood. Why?
Burned butane breaks down into water vapor and carbon dioxide. In the case of isobutane, instead of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, also known as CO, is formed. This is a toxic substance. Therefore, we strongly advise against using this gas in vaporizers where fumes of burned gas are inhaled.
However, we can safely use it with VapCap, Lotus, and other models where we heat metal elements with a flame, and not directly inhale the air.
