Simrell Stainless Steel HyperDyn FMJ – HyperDyn Cap Attachment
Simrell Stainless Steel HyperDyn FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) is a steel cap designed specifically for the HyperDyn model, transforming the titanium cap into a heat reservoir. It enables complete extraction of the spacious 0.25 g chamber during just a single heating cycle.
Complete “One Hit Extraction”
Heating large amounts of dry herb in the HyperDyn can be challenging with standard configuration. The Simrell stainless steel FMJ solves this problem by acting as a thermal buffer. It stores heat energy and releases it to the chamber in a stable, even, and sustained manner. This solution enables the “One Hit Extraction” effect. The entire chamber contents (0.25 g) can be utilized during one intense session without needing multiple reheating cycles.
Stainless Steel and Induction Compatibility
The accessory is made from high-grade stainless steel, ensuring durability and a timeless aesthetic appearance resistant to aging. The Simrell HyperDyn FMJ is fully compatible with induction heaters featuring an opening diameter of 17 mm or larger (such as The Wand). This allows you to combine the convenience and repeatability of induction heating with the powerful performance of the HyperDyn vaporizer.
Fit and Assembly
FMJ caps are supplied in “non-adjusted” form, meaning no factory clamp is included. This allows for precise adjustment of clamping force to individual preferences.
- Assembly: Slide the cap onto The Hyper Cap.
- Adjustment: To achieve the desired fit, gently squeeze the FMJ with your thumb and index finger. This allows you to establish optimal resistance with which the cap grips the vaporizer.
Advanced Heating Technique
Due to the significant thermal mass of the assembly, using a powerful torch is recommended (such as a PROF torch). Unlike standard FMJ models that eliminate the need for rotation, the HyperDyn technique is different:
- Direct the flame at an upward angle, heating both the FMJ cap and the cooling fins of the chamber.
- For optimal heat distribution, it is recommended to slowly rotate the device for 1/3 to 1/2 of the heating cycle duration.
- Exercise caution – excessive heating of the fins may lead to material overheating.
Applying this technique allows for achieving dense vapor and maximum extraction efficiency of the dry herb.
Note: HyperDyn is not included in this package.
