Let’s start by explaining what rosin is. It’s the resin that’s inside the pant and it contains a large part of the active substances that determine how powerful the herb is. By applying the right pressure and temperature, you can extract the resin from the plant material.

Tarik+Rosin T-Rex makes safe concentrate within minutes

How does Tarik+Rosin T-Rex work? The device has two metal plates that are heated up to the temperature chosen by the user. The temperature can be set with one-degree precision, in the range from 100 to 150 degrees Celsius. Once the device reaches the required temperature, you place a small piece of dried herbs (preferably between 0.3-0.5 g) or pressed resin between two sheets of parchment paper and you squeeze it gently so that the paper adheres closely to the material.

Then, you place the paper with the material in between the two hot plates and you close the cover of the device. The herbs/resin covered with paper is pressed between the two plates and you additionally press the cover from the top. The rosin extraction should last at least 15 seconds but no more than 45 seconds.

After that, you take the paper with the material out of the press and you remove the plant material. Now you’ve got a piece of parchment paper covered with sticky resin – and this is the final product, called rosin. You need to take it off the paper and it’s best to do it with a dabber – a sharp tool designed for concentrates application.

Collect the rosin on a fresh piece of parchment paper or into a silicone container for concentrates. The whole process, from the moment you start heating your Tarik+Rosin T-Rex to the moment you have the product ready, takes no more than a few minutes and it’s very simple.

Even though both Tarik+Rosin T-Rex and Rosin Tech method (the extraction of rosin with the use of a hair straightener) are based on the same principle, the results you get with the press are much better. First of all, you can fully control the temperature, which is very important because if it gets too high, the active substances can simply evaporate, and the final product will be much weaker or will bring no results at all once vaped.
