VENTY provides the freest air flow among all portable vaporizers. The device heats up rapidly (up to 20 seconds) and cools the inhaled vapor very well. In addition, the device works with a mobile application, so it offers extensive configuration options.

The manufacturer took care of solid construction, while the vaporizer fits very comfortably in the hand. However, it cannot be said that VENTY is compact and discreet equipment. The device is quite large and heavy and although it definitely looks premium, it is certainly not the most discreet vaporizer on the market.

Storz & Bickel VENTY from a technical perspective – specifications and functionality

VENTY is a portable Vaporizer that we can use at home and beyond. Nevertheless, it is worth keeping in mind the not very discreet construction – the device is relatively large.

The device will work perfectly when vaporizing alone and with friends due to longer sessions and abundant vapor production. Vaporizer VENTY features a completely new, innovative heating system. It was created with this particular device in mind. VENTY measures the amount of air flowing through and heats it more or less depending on this – thanks to this it keeps up with vapor production even with the strongest inhalations.

The heart of VENTY is a powerful heater with a power of 140 W, which ensures abundant vapor production regardless of the strength and duration of inhalation.

Despite its enormous power, VENTY is characterized by relatively slow extraction, especially if we use moderate temperatures – then a session can last up to 10 minutes. At the same time, the extraction is extremely effective.

The distinctive feature of VENTY is an extremely free airflow, which is regulated and can reach up to 20 liters of air per minute. Thanks to this, each breath can be both free and full of dense vapor. Great attention was also paid to a spacious chamber (holds a maximum of about 0.2 g of material), which will satisfy demanding and experienced users. It is worth noting that VENTY is compatible with S&B dosing capsules.

The powerful heater of the VENTY vaporizer requires adequate power. The built-in dual battery is sufficient for a maximum of 80 minutes of continuous operation, however, it is worth keeping in mind that this depends on the temperature used and the inhalation style.

Based on our tests, the actual operating time on a single charge may be slightly lower, but still satisfactory. This is ensured by the dual battery, which unfortunately is not replaceable. However, we can charge it very quickly thanks to the USB-C connector – even in 40 minutes if we use a charger with sufficiently high power.

In the set with the VENTY vaporizer, we will find a USB-C cable, 2 screens with standard meshes, 3 screens with thicker meshes, 2 screens of the cooling unit, 2 seals, a material tool and a cleaning brush. So we get plenty of consumable elements, thanks to which we don’t have to buy them over time. Only accessories that would expand the possibilities of the device were missing.

How does the VENTY vaporizer perform in practice?

VENTY stands out by producing dense and flavorful vapor. It is a hybrid device with a powerful heating system with 140 W power. In terms of extraction efficiency and flavor, this vaporizer can be compared to stationary devices.

Sessions with VENTY can last really long. Using a single chamber is typically around 8-10 minutes of inhalation, which translates to a large number of breaths. However, this time can be significantly shorter if we use slightly higher temperatures.

In our opinion, however, VENTY works perfectly at low temperatures, around 175-180 degrees Celsius. Even then there is plenty of vapor, it is perfectly smooth and pleasant for the respiratory tract, and the taste is optimal. The higher the temperature, the more biting the vapor, but there will be even more of it and it will act even more expressive. The user must therefore find the optimal configuration here for themselves.

The feature that distinguishes VENTY is the airflow guaranteeing free air flow. You can adjust it using the knob on the unit, which allows you to adjust the vapor parameters to individual user preferences. The freest airflow in vaporization history stands behind such, and not another, name of the device.

The vapor will be most pleasant especially at the beginning of the session and at lower temperatures. After a few inhalations, unfortunately its taste will begin to weaken and disappear, although the vapor itself will still be smooth and pleasant. Longer inhalations, especially performed several times a day, can, however, slightly tire the throat.

The Storz & Bickel VENTY vaporizer is also very easy to use. After filling the chamber, simply turn on the device and select the temperature – heating will start automatically and will be almost instantaneous (up to 20 seconds).

The manufacturer allows you to modify the temperature both by adjusting it with buttons on the casing (with accuracy to 1 degree) and by selecting one of the programmed settings. Their values can be defined by ourselves through the mobile application.

The inhalation technique should not cause major problems even for beginners. Remember relatively long inhales, but they don’t have to be slow – VENTY’s heater always keeps up with vapor production.

The vapor cooling system also leaves little to be desired here. It cools the vapor very well even at high temperatures. A 2-level cooling unit configuration with an additional screen was used to filter out herb particles. VENTY has a completely new cooling unit and we must admit that it works really well.

Using VENTY at home is very convenient. Outside the home, the device will be slightly more problematic due to its size and weight, but apart from slightly less discretion, it works just as well, even in frost. 

VENTY is ideal for vaporizing with friends. Long sessions work perfectly for group inhalation, and the simplicity of use and inhalation with this vaporizer also supports this – even complete beginners will manage with it.

Always remember to empty the herb from the chamber after vaporizing and gently remove its residues with the brush included in the set. This way you won’t need to perform general equipment cleaning as often.

Of course, VENTY is not a device without flaws. Although extraction is extremely effective here, this is a typical session vaporizer, which means inhalations may be slightly longer for some users. This device is also not suitable for interrupting inhalation – the entire charge must be used at once.

Along with VENTY in the box we will find a set of operating accessories. We get a set of screens and seals, a herb tool and a cleaning brush. We have everything we need to use the device for an extended period without buying any additional parts.

Nevertheless, there is a lack of dosing capsules or other additional accessories that would expand the vaporizer’s capabilities. We must admit that at such a device price, we expected a slightly larger number of accessories – even a Volcano grinder, which was added in the past to S&B portable models.

VENTY is a brilliant premium-class device. The equipment has a number of significant advantages and several minor drawbacks, which we will discuss in a moment. The VENTY vaporizer performed excellently in our tests and can be considered one of the best – alongside Tinymight 2 and Mighty+ – portable vaporization devices currently available on the market.

What are the most important advantages and disadvantages of the VENTY vaporizer?

The VENTY vaporizer primarily ensures extremely effective extraction of active substances, it is an incredibly efficient device producing excellent quality vapor.

In addition, the manufacturer took care of excellent vapor cooling and free airflow with enormous (and adjustable) throughput. 

Powerful heating system with 140W power ensures dense vapor despite free air flow even at low temperatures and even with the strongest and longest inhalations. 

VENTY provides repeatable results every time, which is a huge advantage, as is the simplicity of its operation and inhalation with its help.

A great advantage is also lightning-fast heating, whose slowness was a serious problem with previous S&B vaporizers.

In VENTY there is somewhat a lack of replaceable battery. Nevertheless, USB-C and a fast charger somewhat reduce this problem, but the fact is the fact. The remaining drawbacks are of little importance.

One of them is that the manufacturer used buttons that may give the impression of an incomplete “click”. They do their job, but in our opinion they could work in a more satisfying way.

It is also worth paying attention to the device price. The VENTY Vaporizer is an expense of around 480 EUR. The device will meet the expectations of even the most demanding users, but for many of them it may simply be too expensive.

It is also worth remembering that this is not a very discreet device, and the significant length of inhalation additionally limits that discretion.

VENTY is a Vaporizer created for advanced users. Of course, a completely beginner person will also manage it, but for an occasional dry herb user the inhalation effects with VENTY may be somewhat overwhelming.

Tips & Tricks, or how to achieve the best results with VENTY

VENTY is the top shelf among Vaporizers – below we present a few tips that will help you use 100% of its capabilities.

Replace the screen above the chamber ♨️

In the cooling unit, just above the chamber with dry herb, there is a factory-mounted screen with quite coarse mesh. Dry herb particles pass through it into the interior of the cooling unit, gradually clogging it. You can easily fix this by replacing this screen with one with fine mesh, which you will find in the set. Such a change will not worsen the air flow, but will slow down the soiling of the cooling unit and allow you to collect condensate of high purity in it, which can then be used.

Grind the herb finely 🥦

Despite the brilliantly effective extraction offered by VENTY, you should still take care of the consistency of your herb. It is best for the herbs to be ground very finely. This primarily affects the speed and effectiveness of extraction, which translates into the density of vapor with each inhalation. The principle here is simple – the finer the ground herb, the faster and easier you evaporate the substances contained in it. However, remember not to grind the herb completely into powder – this can cause herb particles to enter the cooling system and clog the vaporizer.

Pack the chamber correctly 🍀

The VENTY chamber should be filled with herb completely, but without unnecessary tamping. It is worth remembering that this is a hybrid device with a convection advantage, meaning the herb is heated primarily by hot air flowing through it. Too much herb in the chamber can cause significant resistance when inhaling or make inhalation completely impossible. For VENTY to work properly, fill it completely, but loosely, without stronger tamping.

Trust low temperatures 🍃

Even if you prefer high temperatures on a daily basis, trust the capabilities of VENTY and test it at a slightly lower temperature, for example at the factory setting of 180 degrees Celsius. Low vaporization temperatures provide wonderful effects, while the vapor is extremely pleasant and aromatic. Of course, nothing prevents you from increasing the temperature at the end of the session and effectively evaporate all remaining active substances.

Remember about long inhalations 😮‍💨

Every vaporizer is distinguished by a characteristic inhalation technique. VENTY in this field is very forgiving – you just need to remember to take sufficiently long inhalations, but they don’t have to be particularly slow or gentle. Only sufficiently long inhalations will allow you to effectively heat the dry herb in the chamber.

Every vaporizer should be maintained to maximize inhalation comfort and extend its lifespan. VENTY also requires cleaning, and if it is done regularly, it will repay you by maintaining vapor parameters at an optimal level. For this purpose, it is best to use isopropyl alcohol and cosmetic sticks.

Thorough cleaning should be performed regularly every dozen or so sessions. After each completed inhalation session, it is worth cleaning the vaporizer of herb residue. Simply use the brush included in the set. This will slow down the accumulation of dirt.

Who will the VENTY Vaporizer be a good choice for?

We recommend this model primarily for users with high demands. It will be perfect if you were previously fans of Mighty, but it’s also hard to find a better choice for people switching from smoking to vaporization. VENTY has power that the vast majority of portable Vaporizers can only envy.

If you expect the most effective possible extraction and vapor of first-league quality, VENTY will not disappoint you. Similarly if you expect from a Vaporizer primarily ease and intuitive use – in this field VENTY undoubtedly also reigns.

It should be remembered that in VENTY sessions must be long enough to use the entire chamber – this means many inhalations in a row, and not everyone prefers this style of inhalation. However, if you are a fan of longer sessions, VENTY will be a perfect fit for your taste. If you prefer faster and more intense – just increase the temperature a bit. 

Due to its session-oriented nature, VENTY works great for vaporizing in company, which is also supported by its ease of use and inhalation technique. So if you often vaporize in company, this is an additional argument in favor of VENTY.

VENTY is definitely one of the easiest and most comfortable vaporizers on the market, however beginner users may want to consider something else – VENTY due to its power can be somewhat overwhelming, which is not a good combination with the need to use the entire battery charge at once. It is also not equipment for microdosing enthusiasts. 

VENTY is also not the best equipment for those looking for a “quick hit”. In this case, the Tinymight 2 Vaporizer will work much better. 

Although VENTY cools the vapor excellently, each session means inhaling large amounts of quite dry vapor. In this context, frequent and regular sessions may somewhat irritate the throat, which is worth taking into account.

Against the competition, VENTY stands out with extremely effective extraction. In this respect, the equipment can only be compared to Mighty+ Vaporizer, Tinymight 2 and stationary devices.

VENTY also wins against the competition in ease and comfort of use. In this field, it is hard to find something more intuitive. Inhalation is also trivial – just take a rather long drag, that is the whole philosophy. The strength and pace of inhalation are of secondary importance.

The web application (requires a browser supporting BLE, such solutions are available for both Apple and Android phones) is also intuitive and allows for a lot of device customization, offering, among other things, battery operation settings. It is worth using it; in this regard VENTY also wins against the competition, which offers uninteresting mobile applications.

VENTY is certainly one of the larger devices on the market. It is smaller than a MiniVAP Portable vaporizer, but larger (taller) than Mighty+. At the same time, VENTY is slightly thicker and significantly narrower, which makes it more handy than its older cousin. Still, it is still a rather large device, which matters when used outside the home.

Comparison of VENTY to other premium vaporizers

VENTY is a top-shelf vaporizer, so it should only be compared to the premium class. Similar devices in terms of performance are the aforementioned Mighty+, MiniVAP Portable and Tinymight 2, although in the latter sessions are express. Similar vapor quality and efficiency can also be offered by some devices from a much lower price range, for example Arizer Air MAX vaporizer or Arizer Solo 2 vaporizer. However, all this equipment is “missing something” compared to VENTY.

VENTY is a true successor and a step forward compared to the already iconic Mighty vaporizer and Mighty+. Why?

The taste of vapor is also better in the case of Tinymight 2, which additionally also offers replaceable battery power, which is an undeniable advantage. Both models have a 3-year warranty (TM2 warranty was shortened from 10 to 3 years). VENTY is, however, easier to use, cools the vapor better and seems to be more durable in terms of construction.

VENTY is smaller than MiniVAP Portable and heats up faster, offering similar quality of vapor, but slightly weaker taste. Both models in our opinion will work best for home use, although VENTY is much more mobile and easier to use outside the home as well.

VENTY is a very solid proposition from the highest price range. Demanding and experienced users will definitely appreciate its capabilities, although they will impress probably everyone who has the opportunity to try VENTY. If we like longer sessions and are looking for top equipment, there is currently no better portable vaporizer on the market.

VENTY is a top-shelf vaporizer. It is definitely a premium class, so you can have high expectations. VENTY meets them – you get here equipment that offers brilliantly effective extraction, top-quality vapor, remarkable ease of use and options enabling far-reaching personalization of the entire experience. 

In addition, the vaporizer also offers a powerful heating system, a mobile app, a large, dual battery, USB-C port and fast charging function. In other words, it “has it all” – well, except for a replaceable battery.

Storz & Bickel VENTY may not be a revolutionary vaporizer, but it is certainly a fabulous vaporizer. It is a very successful development of the Mighty+ concept and improvement on most levels. Many new solutions were added and a vaporizer was created that will definitely go down in the history of vaporization. Storz & Bickel once again proved that vaporizers can continue to get better.
