At first glance, you can see that The B, also called VapCap B, stands out from other VapCaps. Its body was created from medical-grade silicone instead of, for example, stainless steel or titanium. Various color versions of this model are available, although in our opinion black looks the best. The construction itself sets this device apart from other VapCaps – thanks to this, such a low price was achieved.

It is primarily slightly smaller, which means you can count on even greater herb savings – the chamber holds about 0.05 g. Besides that, it works very similarly to other, even much more expensive models. The manufacturer implemented only one cooling fin here, which is more than sufficient. When heating the cap, which is the heating chamber attachment, it emits one or two clicks. This means it has reached optimal temperature. You can then proceed to vaporization. After some time The B will emit another click – this indicates the need to reheat.

Vapor cooling in the case of this model is quite similar to VapCaps from the M series. Unfortunately, you cannot count on perfectly “smooth” inhalations, especially if you cover the air inlet with your finger. At high temperature, the vapor will be quite warm, because its path is quite short here. This effect can be compensated for, for example, by combining it with a water filter or by letting in more additional air through the inlet.

The body of The B is made of silicone. This allows you to comfortably rotate the vaporizer during heating. Additionally, it does a great job of “hiding” minor scratches, but unfortunately it collects dust. The aesthetic qualities of this model are therefore quite debatable.

The Vaporizer has a small hole on one side body, this is the so-called air inlet. It is used to modify the air flow by uncovering or partially or fully covering it with a finger. Thanks to this, you can get denser vapor at the cost of higher temperature and fewer inhales.

Ultimately, it is best to use this model only by partially limiting airflow. Thanks to this, the temperature of each inhale will be more comfortable. Covering the air inlet provides more intense flavor, higher vapor temperature and slightly faster session. Uncovered airflow offers better vapor cooling and greater comfort when inhaling.

The B can be connected to a water filter even without any adapter. This is possible in the case of a 10 mm joint. For other water filters, the purchase of an additional adapter will be necessary. Water filtration primarily ensures much better vapor cooling, its additional humidification, but also faster extraction and denser clouds.

It should be remembered that due to heating with the lighter, The B is not the easiest vaporizer to use, especially the first time. Using it requires a bit of practice. 

Fill The B with herb to the brim, but without pressing. It should have a medium-fine consistency. Then we proceed to heating. With the lighter, aim at the lower part of the capa vaporizer. After hearing one or two clicks, you can move on to vaporization. The entire process is relatively long, not very discreet, and initially causes some difficulties.

The B vaporizer is therefore initially more difficult to use than typical electronic vaporizers. On the other hand, once you master its heating, it becomes incredibly intuitive, and the entire process is shortened. Additionally, The B has no battery, is extremely durable, and also offers very high vapor quality. Once we master the usage technique, The B or other VapCapy devices are among the most convenient solutions on the market.

This model is of course designed for vaporization on your own. The chamber, which holds about 0.05 g, is not enough for group use. One fill per user works better – for some users, such a dose may still be too small. As an important advantage, it’s also worth mentioning the quality and density of the vapor. The B offers fairly quick and extremely effective extraction. This device can extract from the herb more than significantly more expensive electronic models. This also contributes to savings.

Another significant advantage of The B is its build quality. It is an extremely durable device made of stainless steel and silicone. It’s hard to scratch or cause any mechanical damage.

Improper use sometimes leads to burns, charring of the herb, or ineffective or uneven extraction. You should fill it completely, but without unnecessary packing. The space between the herbs will allow heated air to flow freely. Too much dried material can even cause the material to ignite in the chamber.

Every dozen or so sessions or more, it is worth performing general cleaning. It is also necessary in case of charring the herb. We then soak all steel elements except the cap in isopropyl alcohol. This way we remove all resin from the chamber and condenser.

The B works great when combined with a water filter. Thanks to this solution we gain above all faster extraction and nicely cooled vapor. In this case we use the full chamber after just one heating cycle.

The B Vaporizer fits without any adapters to 10 mm joint. In case of other types of water filters, it will be necessary to purchase additional accessories. Since most water filters offer 14.5 mm or 18.8 mm joints, it is worth considering purchasing an appropriate glass adapter.

Who will The B be a good choice for? 💨

This model may be an ideal proposition if you are switching from smoking to vaporization. The B is a solution similar to a classic pipe – at least in terms of heating method. The experience is quite similar, but we get much healthier vapor than smoke.
